Support Services Assistants

 

The Columbus Foundation, one of the largest community foundations in the country, seeks individuals to support the work of the Support Services Department in the areas of facility management, event planning, and general operations.

Support Services Office Assistant - Major responsibilities include: replenishing/ordering office and kitchen supplies; front desk coverage/telephone duties; copying/distribution of in-house mail and monthly reports; process outgoing mail daily; scheduling for maintenance of office equipment and other repairs as needed.  Personal vehicle is required.

Support Services Event Assistant - Major responsibilities include: scheduling of events/meeting space; replenishing/ordering catering supplies; physical set-up and removal of meeting room furnishings; restocking beverage stations; front desk coverage/telephone duties; flexibility in daily hours is required as events dictate.  Personal vehicle is required.

The desired candidates must be able to successfully work both as a team player and independently, have excellent organizational skills, adapt easily to change and flexibility of work assignments and be familiar with Microsoft Word, Windows 2000.  Salary requirements must accompany resume.
