The Foundation currently seeks an individual to support the Communications and Marketing team in implementing external communications and marketing strategies to engage donors and others in charitable giving to strengthen the community.
Administrative Assistant for Communications and Marketing
The Administrative Assistant will prepare departmental reports; update and add new content to the Foundation’s website; prepare and monitor e-marketing efforts; create presentations; maintain media directory, distribute press releases, and prepare reports; post content to social media platforms; fact check and proofread documents; track key production schedules; and maintain the department’s digital assets.
Desired candidate must have a strong interest in the Columbus community, philanthropy, and the nonprofit sector; strong organizational and project management skills; excellent writing, editing, and communication skills; and the ability to work collaboratively with others. Experience in Microsoft Office, email marketing, social media, web, and graphic design software required. Prior internships or work in an agency setting or a communications department is a plus. A bachelor’s degree is required.
