Central Ohio company Diamond Hill Investment Group established a corporate donor advised fund through the Foundation last year. With it, the company is focusing its grants on several strategic areas affecting the Columbus community. Diamond Hill made a strategic decision to support the personal philanthropy of its employees and the wide range of causes and programs that are meaningful to them through its employee matching program. Diamond Hill will match personal gifts of $100 or more to a public charity or charities up to $1,000 per employee per year. Portfolio Manager Rick Moore uses this option to support one of his favorite charities, Habitat for Humanity, where he also volunteers.  “This is an opportunity to give back to the community in which its clients and employees live and work, and helps attract and retain employees.”
