J. Bradley Britton

Director of Planned Giving and General Counsel
 
As the director of planned giving, Brad Britton works with donors and their professional advisors to facilitate the process of creating new funds and gifts, and assists the Foundation in efforts to increase donor base throughout central Ohio. Brad brings a wealth of knowledge in trusts, estates, and taxes. Prior to joining the Foundation in 1997, he worked as an attorney for Day, Berry & Howard in Stamford, Connecticut handling the preparation of estate planning documents, estate administration, and probate court litigation. He also practiced at Winthrop, Stimson, Putnam & Roberts in New York City as a tax attorney.
 
Brad received his bachelor’s degree in economics and juris doctorate from The Ohio State University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received an LL.M in taxation from Capital University in 2006.
 
Brad is a member of the Columbus Bar Association, the Central Ohio Planned Giving Council, the Worthington Estate Planning Council, and the Columbus Estate Planning Council. He was the 2002–2004 chair of the Estate & Gift Tax Committee of the Columbus Bar Association.
