Tamera (Tami) Durrence
Assistant Vice President and Director of Supporting Foundations
In her role, Tami oversees all aspects of planning and operations for Supporting Foundations affiliated with The Columbus Foundation. Tami works closely with families and corporations not only with the creation of new foundations, but with strategic planning, inclusion, and management assets.
Tami first joined the Foundation is 1982 and served a variety of roles before leaving in 1989 to pursue her education. In 1994, she rejoined the Foundation as the first staff member for the newly formed department of supporting foundations. Since that time, supporting foundation assets have grown from $37.7 million to over $310 million.
Tami holds a bachelor of art degree in business administration from Ohio Dominican University and a master of arts in public policy from The Ohio State University.
