The Columbus Foundation is dedicated to offering informative, inspirational, and useful events to donors and the public. Working with area nonprofit organizations, we strive to build awareness of pressing community issues and educate individuals and families on how to begin and fulfill their philanthropic legacies.

Our ACORN calendar is a special event planning and publicity tool developed exclusively for nonprofit organizations.  It allows nonprofits to post their upcoming events, and  informs the public about what’s happening in central Ohio.

Deadlines (link to deadlines)  - Explore upcoming grantmaking application deadlines for The Columbus Foundation and Supporting Foundations.

Workshops (link to workshops)  - Targeted to nonprofit organizations, workshops are designed to walk organizations through the grantmaking process at The Columbus Foundation and supporting foundations. Community research and grants management staff work with organizations to pair up goals and needs with available grant opportunities.

The Columbus Foundation Donor Only Events (link to TCF events)  - Donor events include a variety of sessions and seminars presented by local and national experts on community issues and trends in philanthropy. From quarterly events like Your Philanthropy, to special occasions like our annual meetings, these events are created to increase donors’ knowledge, recognize their accomplishments, and offer more efficient and effective ways to carve out their philanthropic futures.
