Bowl for Kids’ Sake 2012
- March 3, 2012 | 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
For 28 years, Bowl for Kids’ Sake has been the largest and most important annual fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio. In 2011, this event raised more than $441,000 in important operating revenue. This accomplishment enabled us to positively impact the lives of thousands of children through quality mentoring relationships. We touch the lives of children who are most at-risk, and inspire them to become confident, competent, and caring individuals in our community. Research has proven the unquestionable benefits of mentoring, and the need for our programs continues to grow at an unprecedented rate.
More than 2,500 people comprised of corporate sponsors, employees and their families, civic and community organizations, individual supporters, and staff and volunteers participate in this day of team rivalries, creative team names, coordinated team outfits, and cut-throat competitions! Fun is the word of the day when all teams revel is one-hour of bowling madness to celebrate their fundraising efforts!
Participants raise money on line and/or turn in their pledge money on event day and collect incentive prizes including iPods, t-shirts, and gift cards. Bowlers enjoy an all-day roster of entertainment including raffles, complimentary food and drink, media and surprise celebrity guests, music, and fun!
Individuals and teams must pre-register and work to meet fundraising goals.
