“An atmosphere of anticipation surrounds every new work by Amy Seiwert.” – Voice of Dance
Contemporary dance and cutting-edge technology come together to create an integrated, multi-media theatrical experience like no other. Choreographer Jimmy Orrante and video game composer Sean Beeson, along with technical support from The Ohio State University’s (OSU) Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design (ACCAD), will create an interactive environment that is affected and influenced by the choreography and the audience. Internationally recognized software artist Frieder Weiss will join acclaimed contemporary choreographer Amy Seiwert to produce a piece with real-time video images created in direct response to the movement of the dancers. Don’t miss DanceTech, a unique, must-see event. No performance will be the same!
