Background

Limited Brands Foundation has supported hundreds of community organizations. Because women are the backbone of Limited Brands' success, they focus on issues important to them: empowering women, nurturing and mentoring children, and improving education.  

Grantmaking

Since its inception, the Foundation has approved grants totaling more than $45 million.  The Foundation uses an online application process that originates at the Limited Brands website and focuses on programs with associate involvement as volunteers or board members in Columbus, Ohio; Kettering, Ohio; Rio Rancho, New Mexico; and New York, New York.  The Limited Brands Foundation relies on Columbus Foundation staff to assist with the processing of more than 250 grants, selected grantmaking analysis, and research to assist with its strategic philanthropic objectives.
