Corporate Giving Fund Types
Corporate funds suited for the corporate donor:
If you’re looking for flexibility and convenience, Donor Advised Funds allow you or your appointed committee to recommend grants to any public charity in the United States. You may choose to designate each grant for a specific purpose or for general support.
Scholarship Fund
Support a student’s educational advancement through a Scholarship Fund. You define candidate eligibility, selection, and award use, and we’re here to guide you as needed. And, we also handle all administration, including working with your suggested selection committee, verifying the student’s school registration, disbursing checks, and sharing details of award payment with the recipient.
Field of Interest Fund
If you’re focused on one area of interest, such as conservation, health, education, or animal care, among others—a Field of Interest Fund will work for you. This fund enables you to align your giving with your business interests or goals. You may select your own advisory committee to recommend grants, or if you’d like, the Foundation’s Community Research and Grants Management Department can manage the grantmaking for you.
Supporting Foundation
Enhance your company’s charitable identity with this separate foundation entity. Involve executives and community leaders as members of a functioning board of directors. And look to the Foundation’s entire staff as your informed resource on all administrative, financial, and grantmaking activities.
In addition to choosing the type of fund that works best for your corporation, you will have an array of investment options for your corporate fund. A corporate fund may be opened with a donation of $10,000 or more, and a corporate supporting foundation can be created with a donation of $1,000,000 or more. A range of assets, including stock and real estate, may be used to establish or add to a corporate fund or foundation.
