The Ohio Association of Nonprofit Organizations (OANO) is a statewide membership association of more than 560 organizations that provides leadership, education and advocacy to enhance the ability of Ohio’s nonprofit organizations to serve their communities.

National Standards

 

 

 

The Council on Foundations and leaders of the community foundation field created the National Standards to assist community foundations in establishing legal, ethical, and effective operational practices that demonstrates transparency and financial responsibility and accountability.

An independent evaluator of charities, Charity Navigator provides information to prospective donors on the financial health of more than 5,000 charities and nonprofits in the United States.


Philanthropy 400


Begun in 1991 by the Chronicle of Philanthropy, the Philanthropy 400 survey tracks and reviews financial data gathered from nonprofit organizations and ranks U.S. charities raising the most from individuals, foundations, and corporations.
