Happy Birthday Columbus!

Pianist Aaron Diehl was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. A graduate of Juilliard, Aaron received the coveted international Cole Porter Jazz Fellowship in 2011 at the age of 25. The Columbus Foundation commissioned Aaron to write this tribute to Columbus in celebration of Columbus’ 200th birthday. Aaron returned to Columbus to the theatre located just a few blocks away from his childhood home to record this musical gift in honor of Columbus’ Bicentennial.
