Miami County’s nonprofit organizations will benefit from a new way to accept gifts online, powered by the Paul G. Duke Foundation. The Duke Foundation’s Trustees believe in supporting local nonprofit organizations working to enhance the quality of life in the region—and have drawn on the Foundation’s own resources to make this online giving method available for Miami County.
The Columbus Foundation’s position as the eighth-largest community foundation in the country was assured in 2017, as the assets of the organization grew to $2.27 billion on the strength of gifts and impressive investment returns of nearly 20 percent. Donors and friends learned the news during the Foundation’s annual Celebration of Philanthropy event, which recognizes generous community members and the outstanding nonprofit organization of the year.
