Within a week of launching The Columbus Foundation’s Emergency Response Program, grants were already being deployed to help nonprofits support the most vulnerable in our community. As of May 14, 2020, the Emergency Response Fund has granted more than $4 million to 100+ Franklin County nonprofit organizations.
In these unprecedented times, the needs of our community are greater than ever and these organizations are at the heart of meeting those needs. The Big Give, a 25-hour online giving event, is an opportunity to unite and lift up those who serve others in the community! Eligible nonprofit organizations can download The Columbus Foundation's Big Give toolkit to help promote their participation in The Big Give.
Our special initiatives are signature Foundation components that bring our mission to life. They're made possible by individuals like you who are joining with us to strengthen and improve the community we call home.
During our 75th anniversary year, we are proud to celebrate our past, present, and future. Through sponsorships of innovative programs and events, we lift up the collaborative nature of our community today, and look at ways we can help build an even stronger community for tomorrow.
This program is a collaborative sponsorship of The Columbus Foundation, United Way of Central Ohio, PNC, and Bob Evans, designed to support organizations and improvements in low- and moderate-income areas of Franklin County.
