This donor-advised fund was opened in honor of Nick "Miklós" Battaglia, a son, brother, and dear friend that left this world too soon. Nick leaves a legacy of connectedness and collaboration. The intent of this fund is to continue to build upon that impact by helping those in need. It supports anti-food scarcity and homelessness efforts, causes important to its namesake, through an advisory committee that includes his immediate family and close friends.

SoupFest, Nick's passion project, brings people together for delicious soup, live music, and community giving. It is an ongoing charity event series that now donates its profits to The Miklós Battaglia Fund.
