On May 17, about 5,000 people from more than 30 different cities gathered around hundreds of tables to discuss what challenges and strengthens central Ohio.
“The Big Table conversations brought thousands of people together today to talk, listen, and learn from one another—an important step in connecting us as individuals and as a region,” said Douglas F. Kridler, President and CEO of The Columbus Foundation. “The thoughtful dialogue happening at so many tables inspires us to build a stronger, connected community. Good ideas come from everywhere—sparking innovative collaborations that have the power to improve lives.”
The Big Table Report
After The Big Table, The Columbus Foundation sent a survey to registered Big Table hosts who distributed it to their guests. The Big Table Report discusses the highlights of their survey responses and what we are learning together.
Keep In Touch
We hope The Big Table is only a starting point in sparking conversations, and that all participants continue to talk and listen to each other about how to make our community better. This is a day focused on community-building—but The Big Table is always open for conversation.
