2026 Kindness Close to Home

The Center for HumanKindness invites you to partner with us in starting a chain reaction of kindness and connectivity throughout central Ohio neighborhoods. Kindness Close to Home seeks to bring neighbors together to build a friendlier, kinder community where everyone feels seen and known.

Register today for a FREE neighborliness kit to start a chain reaction of kindness and connectivity throughout the central Ohio region.

The neighborliness kit includes many of the supplies you’ll need to host a small gathering for nearby neighboring households, including invitations, a welcome banner, napkins, name tags, planning suggestions, a $25 Kroger gift card toward snacks, and more.

Once you register, your confirmation email will include a link to choose a convenient time for a casual, informative 30-minute virtual or in-person Neighboring 101 session. After you attend, we’ll mail the kit to your home.
