Michael P. Glimcher elected to the Governing Committee; C. Robert Kidder elected chairman of the Committee
Columbus, OH (January 21, 2015)—The Columbus Foundation has announced officers and members of its Governing Committee for 2015.
Elected to the Committee to serve a seven-year term is Michael P. Glimcher, vice chairman and chief executive officer of WP GLIMCHER.
Mr. Glimcher is active in both industry and community organizations and currently serves on the Board of Directors for M/I Homes, Inc. He is active within the retail Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) industry, serving as a member of the Board of Governors for the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT), past trustee of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and a member of the Real Estate Roundtable. He is also on the board of directors of the Arizona State University Foundation and the Wexner Center for the Arts.
C. Robert Kidder has been elected chairman of the Governing Committee. Mr. Kidder has been a Committee member since 2012. Matthew D. Walter has been elected vice chairman.
Additional Governing Committee members include David P. Blom, Joseph A. Chlapaty, Lisa A. Hinson, Nancy Kramer, Barbara J. Siemer, and Dwight E. Smith.
Governing Committee member Michael J. Fiorile completed his seven-year term at the end of 2014. He also served as chairman of the Governing Committee from 2012-2014.
