Capital Improvement Funding Partnership

Psychiatric Crisis and Emergency System Task Force Recommendations

Psychiatric patients in crisis often face long waits before accessing a bed and/or skilled psychiatric care. The Central Ohio Hospital Council, Central Ohio Trauma System, and Franklin County ADAMH Board, with support from The Columbus Foundation, formed the Psychiatric Crisis and Emergency System Task Force (PCES) in response to this need and produced these recommendations.
