Each year, The Columbus Foundation recognizes 5 Nonprofits to Watch that are addressing pressing community issues. Congratulations to the 5 Nonprofits to Watch in 2024: Affordable Housing Alliance of Central Ohio, Franklinton Farms, Mansion Day School, Native American Indian Center of Central Ohio, and We Amplify Voices.

The Columbus Foundation has added Cardinal Health Inc.'s CEO to its governing committee. George Barrett was added to the nine-member board at its Dec. 13 meeting, replacing OhioHealth CEO David Blom, who has served the past six years.

The Columbus Youth Foundation (CYF) will recognize 94 Columbus City Schools (CCS) students through the Best All-Around Student Awards, to be held on May 3 at Huntington Park, before the game between the Columbus Clippers and the Charlotte Knights.

The Columbus Foundation is pleased to announce participants in its 2018 Summer Fellowship Program. Now in its ninth year, the program provides college students, recent college graduates, and graduate students the opportunity to work with central Ohio nonprofit organizations for a 10-week period.

Miami County’s nonprofit organizations will benefit from a new way to accept gifts online, powered by the Paul G. Duke Foundation. The Duke Foundation’s Trustees believe in supporting local nonprofit organizations working to enhance the quality of life in the region—and have drawn on the Foundation’s own resources to make this online giving method available for Miami County.

Ten Miami County nonprofit organizations supporting social services, education, young people and the community received a financial boost from The Paul G. Duke Foundation.

Created in 2019, Columbus’ True Originals celebrates those in our city who expand the horizons of Columbus through groundbreaking, original work. A renowned climate research scientist, acclaimed author, and two pairs of husband-wife art producers who have dedicated years to strengthening the arts in our community were recognized as this year’s “True Originals” at The Columbus Foundation today.

The Columbus Foundation announced its 5 Nonprofits to Watch, recognizing innovative nonprofits poised for an exceptional year of growth and progress in 2015. The organizations selected for 2015 are: Boys & Girls Clubs of Columbus, Charitable Pharmacy of Central Ohio, Columbus Museum of Art, Reeb Community Center, and St. Vincent Family Center.

The Columbus Foundation’s Governing Committee announced grants to support central Ohio arts and cultural organizations. The grants will provide funding for 54 organizations.
