The Columbus Youth Foundation recognizes 96 Columbus City Schools students for their outstanding citizenship and achievements during the 2014-2015 school year at the Best All-Around Student Awards, to be held on May 21 at Huntington Park.

Franklin County Commissioner Marilyn Brown will lead a public-private task force to forge a comprehensive solution for families facing a devastating housing crisis. The partnership will identify, improve, and create services to keep families in their homes and halt an over reliance on the emergency shelter system, which is reeling from the surge of central Ohio families turning to homeless shelters.

The Columbus Foundation’s Governing Committee recently approved five grants totaling $365,000 from the Fund for Financial Innovation (FFI). FFI was established in 2010 to support nonprofit organizations and projects that promote social enterprise collaborations, affiliations, and mergers.
