Columbus Foundation officials have announced a total of $2.1 million in awards to 60 central Ohio arts organizations — the largest such investment in the foundation’s 75-year history.

Today, The Columbus Foundation was part of a group of private and public partners who came together today to announce an incredible collaborative effort that will help address critical affordable housing needs.

The Columbus Foundation and the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford University (informally known as the d.school) are in partnership to bring innovative problem-solving techniques to nonprofits in the Columbus region. In August, approximately 40 leaders in Columbus’ nonprofit sector will come together to engage with Stanford’s Designing for Social Systems workshop in Columbus. This will be the first time the d.school conducts this workshop outside of its campus.

The Columbus Foundation today announced that it would be donating 50,000 KN95 masks to central Ohio nursing homes, EMS workers, City and County Health Departments, and nonprofits.

The Trustees of The Paul G. Duke Foundation are pleased to announce that on January 1, 2022, they will begin accepting grant applications on a rolling basis from nonprofit organizations in the Miami County area.

The Columbus Foundation’s Summer Fellowship Program is expanding in 2015, offering a total of 14 Fellowships to engage and inspire the next generation of nonprofit leaders. The Foundation selected the nonprofit organizations that will serve as host sites for 2015, and is seeking college or graduate students to fill the Fellowships.

Jerrie Mock, the first woman to fly solo around the world, will be honored as fellow aviators, historians, community leaders, and friends gather to celebrate the 50th anniversary of her flight.
