Columbus, OH (March 19, 2019)—The Columbus Foundation today recognized five innovative central Ohio organizations poised for an exceptional year of growth and progress during its “5 Nonprofits to Watch” event. The organizations selected for 2019 are: A Kid Again, Columbus Early Learning Centers, Human Service Chamber, ProMusica, and TECH CORPS.
The Columbus Youth Foundation (CYF) recognized 94 Columbus City Schools (CCS) students through the Best All-Around Student Awards, held at Huntington Park, before the game between the Columbus Clippers and the Charlotte Knights on May 8. The event celebrated students’ outstanding citizenship and achievements during the 2018-2019 school year. Performing before the on-field ceremony and playing the national anthem was the Marion-Franklin High School Marching Band.
