The Columbus Foundation announced $744,490 in grants to support a new pilot program and Core Support Grants, which provide essential general operating support for eight nonprofits.

Columbus, OH (November 2, 2016)—The Columbus Foundation is searching for college and graduate students with interest in the nonprofit sector, offering a 10-week, paid fellowship to build work experience and develop skills for a future nonprofit career through its Summer Fellowship Program. The program, now in its eighth year, has expanded to include 17 organizations—nearly doubling its capacity to match eligible students with Franklin County nonprofits.

Troy, OH (November 16, 2016)—Nonprofit organizations serving residents of the Miami County area received welcome support recently from The Paul G. Duke Foundation. The Foundation announced grants totaling more than $140,000, targeting education and social services programs, community events and the community itself.

COLUMBUS, OH (February 15, 2017)—The Medical Mutual of Ohio Charitable Fund recently awarded grants totaling $150,000 to support central Ohio nonprofit organizations working with youth and their families in programs focused on food choices, cooking, and exercise to promote a healthy lifestyle.
