This fund was established by the children of Edward and Maxine Tracy to commemorate their parents’ lifelong interest in the visual arts. Annually it provides a scholarship to a graduate of Columbus Public Schools attending Mr. Tracy’s alma mater, Columbus College of Art and Design.

Mary Jo DeVleeschower was a native of South Bend, Indiana, born January 14th, 1941. She graduated in 1968 from Andrew Jackson High School in South Bend, and graduated from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana in 1972 with a degree in “special education.” Mary Jo taught at the Alexander Graham Bell School beginning in 1972 working with students who were hearing impaired. She attended the University of Southern California (John Tracy Clinic) and received her Master’s degree in 1978 from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a teacher at the Alexander Graham Bell School, Mary Jo worked through a grant with Gallaudet University in Washington D.C. for the Wole Language Program for the hearing impaired, publishing a related article in a national magazine. Mary Jo DeVleeschower loved the children with whom she worked, and poured her whole heart into her work. She had a special relationship with her students, demonstrated on the day of her memorial when some shared a tribute to her in American Sign Language. She further demonstrated her love and support for her students through the creation of the scholarship through her will.

This scholarship fund honors the memory and values of Sally Miller Ling, who passed away December 25, 1997 due to breast cancer. Sally taught school in Wisconsin, Michigan, Brazil, and Connecticut, and wherever she taught, she earned the love and respect of her colleagues and her students. This scholarship provides awards to deserving students who are graduates of Cambridge High School in Cambridge, Ohio.

The fund awards scholarships for the benefit of graduating seniors of Lewisporte (Newfoundland) Collegiate who will attend an accredited post-secondary institution, such as a public or private college or university, or a technical or vocational institution. The scholarship award shall be for educational expenses.

Walter Rybolt created this fund through his estate to benefit graduating high school students from Delaware County, Ohio attending colleges or universities other than Ohio Wesleyan University, where he established a separate scholarship fund. Mr. Rybolt, owner of Rybolt Production Products, was a member of the Delaware City Council for six years, and served as chairman of Red Cross. Mrs. Rybolt volunteered for Red Cross and was the residential chairman of United Way. Walter and Mary both graduated from Ohio Wesleyan and were longtime residents of Delaware, Ohio.

The Russell A. and Sophia “Jean” Hall scholarship was established in 2003. Feeling fortunate and grateful for their own education, Jean and Russell created this scholarship as a way to pay forward and support vulnerable students seeking an education. Recognizing the value in all avenues of education and the financial hardship it creates, these Ohio State graduates created the scholarship to support students pursuing a degree at a state-supported college, university, vocational, or technical school in the state of Ohio.

The family of Matthew T. Williams created the scholarship to honor Matthew T. Williams. First Lieutenant Matthew T. Williams graduated from Minerva High School (Ohio) and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. First in his class, Matt earned the John Levitow Award, the highest honor bestowed during Airman Leadership School. Matt completed his Associates of Applied Science in Electronic Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force. After acceptance to the Airman Education and Commissioning Program in 1999, he attended and graduated from The Ohio State University (OSU) summa cum laude and received the 2001-2002 Everett Student of the Year Award from the OSU Electrical Engineering Department. While at OSU, Matt was diagnosed with cancer, and he passed away in 2006.

The Ohio School Psychologists Association established this scholarship to benefit graduate students who are in the 2nd term of their first year at one of the nine Ohio Graduate Training Programs in School Psychology.

This scholarship was established by the family of Ryan Andrew Beavers to support a graduating senior from Hilliard Davidson High School who plans to pursue a degree in Computer Science.

Gideon Development founded this scholarship to support students from the King Lincoln District as they pursue higher education.
