MISSION
Improve cancer outcomes in Ohio by raising funds and awareness for Ohio cancer nonprofits through the power of collaboration, community, and philanthropy.
In March, The Columbus Foundation announced this year’s 5 Nonprofits to Watch: Dress for Success Columbus, Festa, Home for Families, Opera Columbus, and YWCA Columbus.
An initiative developed to provide Foundation donors and community members with an efficient and immediate way to supply school items and clothing to local children who are homeless surpasses its goal.
Within 15 minutes of The Big Give kickoff on September 17, 2013, 300 central Ohio nonprofits had already received donations. The 24-hour online giving effort reached $1 million and 1,000 donations in less than 40 minutes!
