Welcome Baskets for Women
YWCA Columbus
Support for YWCA Columbus will provide welcome baskets for individuals in the Women’s Residency Program.
Thanks to you and other generous donors, YWCA Columbus will provide welcome baskets for individuals in the Women’s Residency Program, complete with the essentials needed for daily life.
YWCA Columbus plays a leading role in our community, meeting critical needs in housing, childcare, women’s leadership, and social justice advocacy and education. YWCA Columbus’ Women’s Residency Program is a permanent supportive housing program that provides long-term housing and supportive services for women. Many are recovering from experiences of addiction, poverty, and homelessness, or managing disabilities and other obstacles. For these residents, gifts of home décor, personal care and hygiene items, bathroom accessories, and kitchenware are invaluable.
Thank you for helping YWCA Columbus prepare these women to make a fresh start in their new long-term housing while helping them feel cared for and appreciated.
We are Better Together!
“Providing our residents with welcome baskets not only provides a sense of relief as they enter our program, but also a sense of security and support. Meeting people where they are starts with understanding their needs, and working to provide them the resources to be successful. Welcome baskets are an empowering asset that I believe will help make them successful throughout our program.”
