Columbus, OH (January 13, 2021)—The Columbus Foundation announced the recent addition of Hena Masood as a Community Research and Grants Management Officer.

Hena Masood, Community Research and Grants Management Officer

Masood will support the organization’s grantmaking processes, with a special emphasis on strengthening evaluation and measurement efforts. This will allow the Foundation to effectively share community knowledge and provide deeper levels of education to its donors and the public about data-driven community needs.

“Hena brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the fields of data analytics and analysis, especially related to philanthropic giving,” said Dan A. Sharpe, Vice President for Community Research and Grants Management. “We welcome her expertise and insights as we look to provide a deeper understanding of how the Foundation can utilize such metrics to ensure equitable grantmaking practices.”

Prior to joining the Foundation, Masood was the Corporate Responsibility Metrics & Reporting Manager/VP at JPMorgan Chase, where she managed metrics and reporting on the company’s $350 million annual philanthropic giving to advance equity, inclusion, and social justice. She previously held roles in business and data analytics at Nationwide Insurance and Progressive Insurance.

Masood earned a bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University and a Master of Business Administration from Cleveland State University.
