George L. Harper Memorial Scholarship
Mary E. Harper established this scholarship fund in memory of her husband, George L. Harper, Sr., who did not have the opportunity to attend high school, and her stepson, George L. Harper, Jr., a member of the Hilliard (Ohio) High School Marching Band, who was killed in a school bus accident at the age of 13.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must be graduating seniors of Hilliard Davidson High School (2024), Hilliard Darby High School (2025), Hilliard Bradley High School (2026).
- Candidates must participate in social and other extracurricular activities during high school.
- Candidates must rank in the upper percent of their high school class.
- Candidates must have good citizenship record and personality.
- Candidates must demonstrate financial need.
- Candidates must attend or plan to attend an educational institution in the U.S.
