Guido, Olga, and Roland G. Dartau Scholarship

The scholarship honors the memory of the Dartau Family. Roland Dartau was born in 1931 in Riga, Latvia. He was the son of Olga Mikhailovna Nikolaeva Dartau and Guido Georg Dartau. Roland lived in Latvia, Germany, Oregon, and Columbus, Ohio. Roland was a member of the Columbus Latvian Evangelical Church and American Mensa. Roland received a master’s degree in inorganic chemistry from Oregon State University and was employed at Chemical Abstracts, The Ohio State University, and Battelle Memorial Institute in Columbus.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Candidates must be pursuing a graduate degree offered by the Department of Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures at The Ohio State University.
