McGuire-Holcomb Scholarship Fund
The scholarship was established in memory of the donor’s brother, William F. McGuire; mother, Ruth H. Holcomb; and stepfather Kenneth P. Holcomb. The scholarship provides tuition and books for the education of students who have a physical disability.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must be residents of Champaign, Clark, Franklin, Madison, or Union counties in Ohio for a minimum of five years. However, Madison County residents are considered first priority for the scholarship.
- Candidates must be medically certified as having a physical disability. The disability must be visibly evident. (Candidates who are deaf or blind are excluded, unless they have another physical disability.)
- Candidates must pursue or plan to pursue a two- or four-year degree. Graduate students who are past recipients of the scholarship fund are eligible for the scholarship.
- Candidates must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average (GPA).
- Candidates must attend a post-secondary institution in the U.S.
