Background

In 2025, Safelite established the Steve Miggo Safelite Everyday Hero Scholarship in memory of Steve Miggo, a beloved executive leader for more than 15 years, who passed away after a long and inspirational battle with cancer.

Eligibility

• Candidates mut be Safelite frontline associates in operations or supply chain who have been employed full-time for a minimum of one year. 
  • Frontline Operations Roles 
    • All Technicians (Not trainees)
    • Repair Specialists (RS 1,2,3)
    • Customer Advocates
    • Assistant Store Managers (both installing/non-installing)
    • Store Managers (both installing/non-installing)
    • SQMs (Safety & Quality Managers)
  • Frontline Supply Chain Roles
    • Fulfillment Associates (FA I, II, III & MVR Non-MVR)
    • Fulfillment Associate Leads
    • Inventory Control Specialists
    • Logistics Coordinators
    • Operations Administrators
    • Operations Coordinators
    • Operations Support Team
    • Fulfillment Associate Trainers
    • Lead Warehouse Associates
    • Parts Sourcing Managers
    • Parts Sourcing Specialists
    • Racking Team Associates
    • Fulfillment Center Ops Managers
    • Fulfillment Center Supervisors
    • ​Warehouse Managers I, II
• Candidates must have a track record of good performance and be in good standing.
• Associates who are director level and above are not eligible for the scholarship.
• Candidates must attend a post-secondary institution in the U.S.

Deadline

Application will be open August 17th through September 30th. 

Award Amount 

Minimum Award of $1,000.
