Easton’s mission is to be actively engaged in the well-being of the central Ohio community. These funds support the community at large, as well as the development of future leaders. Through our scholarship program, we are able to help local students achieve their goals of attending college and fulfilling their future dreams! We are proud of the 111 students we have supported over the years. We know they will be our future community leaders, and look forward to seeing their successes and supporting our local student population well into the future.

The scholarship honors the namesake, who was a 1940 engineering graduate from The Ohio State University and inspired generations of family engineers. The purpose is to helps students pay for college expenses.

The Davey Tree Family Scholarship assists students pursuing post-high school education with a focus on Urban Forestry, Arboriculture or Science and Landscape Technology.

The Columbus Foundation is pleased to announce the 13 Summer Fellows selected for its 2024 Summer Fellowship Program.

The fund was created by the efforts of the Wehrle High School Community Education Association to support students attending Wehrle High School in Columbus’ south side. After the school closed, the Association redirected the funding to support students who would have attended Wehrle High School in pursuing a high school education in the Catholic tradition.

This scholarship was established by Terrence Larrimer to honor his grandfather, Thomas Larrimer (1879-1915), and his father, Richard Larrimer (1903-1987). Both men grew up and were educated in Washington Court House. When Thomas Larrimer died in a work related accident, Richard assumed responsibility for his own education and that of his two younger brothers. Richard Larrimer graduated from The Ohio State University Law School in 1925 and founded Larrimer & Larrimer, a Columbus law firm specializing in Worker's Compensation. Through this scholarship Terrence wishes to recognize his father's commitment to education and by focusing the scholarship on science and engineering, to emphasize the importance of these disciplines in our nation's future.

This fund is designated for Lancaster City Schools (Ohio) to make awards to an outstanding female freshman athlete scholar to participate in summer educational activities.
