Fawn Ramsey Druggan Memorial Award
The scholarship was founded to honor the memory of Fawn Ramsey Druggan. Mrs. Druggan was born and lived in Sunbury, Ohio until 1908 when she married Charles Sumner Druggan, an attorney in Columbus, Ohio. Mrs. Druggan’s mother lived in Sunbury until her death. Mrs. Druggan visited her mother frequently and had a great love for Sunbury. She was a pleasant, good-humored lady with a quick wit. The scholarship shall be recognition and encouragement for an act or acts of community service in the Village of Sunbury.
Eligibility Criteria:
  • Candidates must be nominated by another student or students from the high school, a teacher or administrator from the high school, or a Sunbury resident.
  • Candidates must have performed community service for which no compensation was received.
  • Candidates must attend or plan to attend an educational institution in the U.S.
  • Candidates must be a graduating senior of Big Walnut High School and a resident of Sunbury, Ohio.
