Harry H. Howarth Music Scholarship
The scholarship was created with a gift under the estate plan of Harry Howarth, Ph.D., known as "Cork." Cork obtained a Ph.D. in psychology from The Ohio State University and taught psychology at Ohio State for many years. He enjoyed traveling and took many trips to France. He also had a passion for opera and classical music and played the cello. Cork passed away in 2017.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must attend The Ohio State University full-time.
- Candidates must demonstrate successful academic progress leading toward the successful completion of a degree in music.
- Preference will be given to a student studying voice or cello.
