James Hantak Scholarship
The fund supports a graduating senior of Columbus City Schools, Upper Arlington High School, or volunteer or athlete from Lancaster Special Olympics with special needs. Preference may be given to athletes or volunteers of Special Olympics.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must plan to attend a trade school, vocational school, or college/university.
- Candidates must be graduating seniors of Lancaster schools, Upper Arlington High School, or Columbus City Schools.
- Preference will be given to students from Lancaster City Schools.
- Preference may be given to students who have been athletes or volunteers for Lancaster Special Olympics.
- Preference will be given to students with physical rather than developmental disabilities.
- Strong preference will be given to students with special needs.
- Candidates must attend or plan to attend an educational institution in the U.S.
