Kenneth B. Creasy Speech and Debate Scholarship

The scholarship was created to honor the late Kenneth B. Creasy, who died unexpectedly in June of 1992. Mr. Creasy was a former social studies teacher and speech and debate coach at Olentangy and Hayes high schools in Delaware County, Ohio.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Candidates must be graduating seniors at a Delaware County (Ohio) high school.
  • Candidates must be nominated by a speech teacher, forensic director, English Department Chair, guidance counselor, or others who would best determine senior student excellence in communication.
  • Candidates must have superior public communication skills, integrity, and concern for the welfare of others, and outstanding academic promise.
  • Candidates must attend or plan to attend an educational institution in the U.S.
