Nelle L. Fischer Scholarship
The scholarship was created by Nelle L. Fischer to support students from her family’s hometown in Zaleski, OH. Although she lived much of her adult live in New York City, upon her passing, she wanted to ensure support for her community. This scholarship is to defray the educational expenses for college or university of a Vinton County student with proven musical ability.
Eligibility Criteria:
  • Candidates must be graduating seniors of Vinton County High School.
  • Candidates must be residents of Vinton County (preferably Zaleski), Ohio.
  • Candidates must attend or plan to attend an educational institution in the U.S.
  • Candidates must have proven musical ability in piano, voice, or a musical instrument in orchestra or band.
