Community Meals in the New Year
Central Community House
Your support allows Central Community House to provide monthly Community Dinners throughout 2019!
Since 1936, Central Community House has been serving the near east and near south side of Columbus, offering residents valuable services that help boost the overall quality-of-life in the community. One way the organization gathers people together is through food. Once a month, Central Community House hosts 80-100 people for a Community Dinner. All are welcome, regardless of income, age, or family status. These free, hot meals are provided in a family-friendly setting on the last Wednesday of the month, helping households stretch their food budgets and giving them an opportunity to take a break from cooking.
Through your gift to this Better Together project, the monthly dinners are fully funded for all of 2019, providing an opportunity for individuals and families to come together for fellowship, nourishment, and to learn more about the programs and services offered through the settlement house.
