Thanks to you and other generous donors, Freedom a la Cart’s new composting program can become a reality.

Freedom a la Cart is a nonprofit social enterprise that makes meals more meaningful by tastefully combining fresh, from-scratch cuisine with life-changing employment and long-term support to local survivors of sex trafficking and exploitation. It provides supportive services to approximately 400 survivors of human trafficking each year.

Its composting program will reduce food waste and create compost to be utilized by area farms and greenhouses throughout the state, taking what was once deemed unusable and transforming it into a valuable resource for our community.
