New Nurseries for Life
Lower Lights Ministries
Create possibilities for newborn children by providing a safe, stable environment for the vital first year of life.
Lower Lights Ministries (LLM), one of the 2020 Five Nonprofits to Watch at The Columbus Foundation, is a holistic community development organization that seeks to break cycles of poverty and addiction through supportive housing and individualized mentoring programs.
Support for this Better Together campaign completely equipped four nurseries for a mother and infant. Your generous donations helped fund the items needed to create a safe and enriching home environment for new mothers and their babies. These nurseries include a crib, changing table, baby monitor, high chair, baby clothing, and other necessities.
With your generosity, LLM was able to create an environment that allows women to develop into strong, healthy mothers who are equipped to raise strong, healthy children.
Thank you! We are Better Together!
“Years in law enforcement allowed me to see firsthand the impact of unstable family environments. Any project that supports new mothers seeking to build strong homes for their children is something I want to be part of. In fact, I plan to lead the team furnishing these new homes and nurseries!”
