Restore Lake Atagahi
Camp Wyandot Inc.
Since 1930, Lake Atagahi has been the centerpiece of the Camp Wyandot experience. The lake is in severe ecological decline and leakage is threatening the integrity of the dam. Save the lake and keep nature intact for kids at camp!
Thank you for securing the legacy of Lake Atagahi!
Camp Wyandot, nestled in the Hocking Hills, has served boys and girls with day and overnight camps for more than 85 years. Lake Atagahi is the place to go for swimming, canoeing, fishing, and environmental education at Camp Wyandot. Damage to the dam and a struggling ecosystem threatened to eliminate this amazing and integral part of camp. A total of $9,400 was leveraged through Better Together donations from our generous community. This, combined with a $15,000 grant from The Columbus Foundation's Green Funds, is providing the support Camp Wyandot needs to save the lake.
"Thank you for your support! Your contribution will continue the legacy of education, exploration, and nature appreciation for years to come."
— Nicole Braun, Board President, Camp Wyandot Inc.
